About Us

The Key Ministry International is a non-profit organization committed to reaching and empowering unreached communities through spiritual, social, and economic initiatives. It was founded by Bishop Samson Matabaro, who is himself a refugee from Burundi. As refugees, him and his family moved from country to country to flee for the safety of their lives. Even when they eventually found a home in South Africa, life seemed impossible, yet they saw God do amazing things, and now Key Ministry International is helping people in the same situation by striving to support refugees and foreign nationals in Pietermaritzburg with the local communities. Furthermore by equipping them with essential knowledge on documentation, business regulations, and life skills necessary for successful integration into South African society. Join us in our mission to build bridges of understanding and hope.
